This bank is horrible. This is a Canadian bank operating in the U.S and they are taking advantage of good hard working people in the U.S.

They finance Ashley Furniture and the interest rates are absurd. I made a payment through their electronic payment and they stated the check did not go through. I had plenty of money in the bank and have paid them on time for over 2 years and never late on a payment. They charged me 25 for late fee and 35 for the return of the check.

They resubmitted the check and it went right through 3 days later. I cannot determine what happen. Of course they blamed it on me and lower my credit limit from 8000 to 2500.00. On top of this because my girlfriend is on the card with they reporter her to the credit bureau which in return lower her credit score by twenty points.

they would not reason me. No Im sure they are making millions off the hard work of everyday people but if you make one mistake they ruin your life.

I say these corporation should be dissolved and stop doing business with organizations like TD bank. They should be reported to department of Justice or something.

*** poor service

Making customers wait outside for up to and over an hour for service. Pouring rain, blazing sun you name it. Reduced hours of service. Taking away bank books.They say to reduce paper use and cut down on waste. But I have more paper and waste without the book than with it.

I have spoke to several people within the TD organization about my concerns and they in turn have addressed these concerns supposedly internally. So I will never know exactly if any changes have been made but that's all I know.

Poorly managed and administrated banking service for which I find is far less than the "professionalism" that one has come to expect from T.D. over the years. Communication and betrayal on services along with upselling on the false premise of their latest service provides. I have found out, the hard way, that they are not to be trusted. This isn't to say that what has been perpetrated has been done with any malicious or foul intent -no, it's just one contempt after another. These blunders build distance and mistrust. The Bank manager despite being called several times has never returned a call. In my view, this branch manager portrays an "elitist" attitude, which has funneled down to her staff. Terrible service and communication in my view, and once more, there is a real complacency and apathy entrenched there. I will be shopping around for a different financial institution where the manager is on top of their game when it comes to customer communications and service!

I called customer service. I even had them escalate to a supervisor.

They apologized but said there was nothing they could do.

Obviously they are slaves to their system. They have to treat people as system fodder, not as humans.

IN some cases, the poorly trained person that you are speaking to, is so overzealous in trying to sell you their latest product, that they will do anything short of holding a gun to your head to get you to buy-in. I have been ripped off from them failing to disclose important information while calling you at your home at night trying to get you to buy.

I have lost several dollars from their communications being less than professional and less than forthright. My recommendation is that if someone from T.D. calls you, record the date, time, and get their full name and report them. No one should be calling you at night at home to upsell their products.

I have no faith in T.D.

after there have been several contretemps on by their staff. The training and the quality control is just not there anymore!

Discrimination !!!

In my recent call to TD Bank I felt very uncomfortable when I was told by Gina TD Bank customer service representative Most people who bank with them don't know how to find basic information. According to her I was one of them probably because Of my accent, and she treated me like TD bank don't want to do business or need my money. I understand that after this horrible experience I don't want to do business with them neither. After not having the information that I needed I made a second call and I spoke with another TD Bank customers representatives named Brie who didn't have the right explanation about the information regarding my issue that I was calling for and calling lair to the people who helped me to open the account previously and stating that I should listening to her because she was the only one telling me the truth. It wakes me up and I realize that TD Bank Lies to its customers in order to do business shame on them. I don't understand how Management allows it to happen. Or probably they are trained by management in how to lie in order to screw its customers.

User's recommendation: Be careful when you bank with TD Bank. My recommendation is Banking with small and local Banks you get better services and problems are solved quickly. Also you money is more appropriated and you are treated with respect and equally regardless your race, color..etc. etc.

I got $100 from my friend on my daughter's Birthday. As my daughter was young i kept it for her to use when she can, (I got same 3 American express card which has the same amount of the money. ) somehow now she wants to use the value of the card is only $36.If I knew that you will take my all money out then i would use it by myself for so long. In the future, I would let people know not to buy TD bank gift card. I did not accept from this card.

Waiting for my refund

There is two significant problems that I'm facing with this bank institution and I have two different claims for each problem 1- On 08/3/2020 before we knew about the pandemic I purchased tickets for a concert that was actually cancelled at that time and later one reschedule, due to the fact that is a risk to participate on that type of event I decided to cancelled the transaction for the amount of $583.52 for both concert tickets and the insurance that I was force to purchase as well. When I reached out to Tickets Onsale they just told me that they face a lot of business losses and were not able to refund the tickets, so I decided to contact my bank as I used my debit card and get a refund for this transaction directly with them but as this incident happen during the pandemic bank was close and having access with them over the phone was impossible. I spend hours to never been able to speak with a live rep to address this issue but finally on 8/12/20 I was able to speak with a customer services after a long waiting time on my phone and she started a dispute claimed and I got a refund within 24 hours. I follow her advise I submitted a written statement to that I was actually able to drop at the brank near my house to add it on my File Dispute # RCs5iRUI12S5308 but on 9/18 got a letter stating that they revoke this claim as they stated that i surpass the time to place the claim without taking in consideration that I had not access to the bank before so I was advise to refile the claim which is now RCbM3AUJ28M4547 but I haven't heard anything in reference to this yet. 2- On Sept 8, 2020 using ZELLE / TD Mobile Bank I send my mistake $750.00 to a phone number 917-655-**** this number belong to Mrs. Chan. This was intent to be send to another person but the last two numbers were place wrong . Knowing ZELLE disclaimer I reach out to the person that received the money and she was willing to return this without any problem and on 9/15/2020 she went to her bank branch and a banker help her to send me the amount back that was place on hold by my bank stating that this will be available the following Friday which never was. Days pass and every time that i reach them it was a new info, no one seems to know... even in one point someone told me that the money initially never left my account, which I proof was wrong, so I file a dispute one more time AAHAUXUJ21L0557 and to support my actions I even file a police report which I personally took to my local branch to be fax as well.... At the end I was told that they make a mistake as my number was linked with an account that was close over a year ago and they for that reason the money was never accredited and it was retuned back to the sender. I asked the bank to contact the third party bank and get my money but they are not doing nothing but ask me one more time to call the other bank for assistance using the trace number (151616****)of the transaction to see if I can recuperate my money or go to the small court to suit the person for the money that she had attempt to return, their own customer services stated that they felt this unfair but there is nothing that they can do unless a higher manager agreed to support and help. So I'm asking for assistance as this bank is not protecting my interest and helping at all.

Td bank refuse to give me my money

My account was closed after almost 5 years with the bank without notice. That's fine but what I'm pissed of about is that they kept my remaining money in my account and wont give it to me. Saying that the department that closed your account hasn't fully completed the close out .they gave me a number to the department that closed my account it's been over 7 days with no response from that department there voice mail says they will call me back in 24 to 48 hours I haven't received no call back td bank is very unprofessional in the handling of this situation I went to the bank they sent several emails to the department to request them to release my funds .to know avail nothing.they said there hands are tied.they cut up my debt card turned off my banking app hung up the phone on me several times Friday the 2nd of October will be 8 days that the bank has not given me any information on when I will get my remaining funds .a td customer service worker told me to go bye the bank and they will cut me a check or I can wait until they mail me a check. No time frame on how long it will take and while at bank they attempted to cut my a check and the couldn't it was blocked by that department that closed my account. And the bank manager said all you can do is keep trying that number but to know avail.no body from that department has yet to call me and let me know when they are going to release my funds I dont owe the bank not one dime.thats why I'm pissed off.

This bank is very poorly managed by people who are "anything" but customer focused! The blunders they make on a regular continuum, the double talk to the customers, and many other gaffs including an elitist attitude are mind-boggling, to say the least.

I deal with the McKenzie location here in S.E. Calgary, where at one time, they had a very sound and friendly operation. Now it's run by overpaid yuppies, who have no conscience and no accountability to ensuring communication is properly conveyed.

The manager herself could really care less and will not return calls. My advice is to find a different branch, one that has a professional approach.

Complaint& Dispute a Charge

TD Retail Card Customer Service Management, Hi, My wife made the September monthly payment ( purchase of Samsung Cell Phone) over the phone, she keyed in her account number on the cell phone but she was not aware she keyed in 2 additional digits at the time. So the payment was rejected and we didn't know until we received the collection bill in our mail. My wife immediately called in the collection " department and made the payment of $82. At the time the agent who answered my wife's call told her that she didn't see any late fee was assessed. If it does appear in my billing statement the following month, just give a callback!. Today I and my wife called TDL customer service and each one of us was on hold 70 minutes. My wife called the collection department and explained to the agent JH3 ( James). He was very helpful by submitting the request for a reverse late fee charge of $27, then he said I was charged for another $25 insufficient fund for mis keyed account information. My wife's account has more than enough funds to withdraw! We never heard such a thing we get punished for mis keyed at the fine of $25. My wife called her checking account bank " Security First Bank" Bismarck, ND and the bank said they never charge $25 fee it just because of keyed in the wrong number on the account. My wife spoke with 3 agents in the collection department, the first agent she spoke to in September misled her to believe that we don't have a late fee assessed. The second agent Brandae was very impatient, rude, and just wanted to end the phone without looking into our situation. The third agent " James, JH3" finally helped with reversing the late fee. I am asking you to remove the $25 mis keyed penalty as an " insufficient fund penalty". Thank you! TDL customer service is so bad, a long time on hold!
